Hi, I am Stephanie (I am British), wife, mother of three girls and two cats living in New York City. Little O Clothing began as a children’s wear brand, focusing on creating comfortable and stylish clothes for little ones. Over time, the brand has grown to include homewares, reflecting a passion for home decor and creativity. I design and make unique pieces of seasonal decor, often sharing detailed tutorials because I love a good DIY project! Recently, I have also started producing needlepoint kits, with a special appreciation for the Bargello style of stitching. Many more exciting designs inspired by this technique are set to launch throughout 2026, expanding the Little O collection into new creative realms.
My journey in design began at Central Saint Martins in London, where I honed my skills and developed a deep appreciation for innovative fashion, surface embellishment and knitwear. I had the privilege of working with esteemed houses such as Alexander McQueen, Chloé, and John Galliano, experiences that shaped my aesthetic and attention to detail. Later, I moved to the United States to design knitwear for Diane Von Furstenberg, further expanding my expertise in luxury apparel. This diverse background informs Little O’s approach to creating timeless, well-crafted products that blend style with comfort and functionality.
Style & Quality
My aesthetic is deeply rooted in a passion for color, surface embellishment, and pattern, all of which vividly come through in my work. Inspiration flows from my visits to books, museums, and galleries, with a particular fondness for the V&A Museum in London, where the richness of art and design fuels my creativity. Countless hours spent crafting and experimenting at home allow me to explore new techniques and ideas, which I eagerly share through video tutorials and craft kits. Lately, I've been inspired to design and create tapestry cushions—each piece unique, vibrant, and a true celebration of an eclectic, Maximalist style. These cushions, will soon be available as DIY kits, embody my love for boldness and individuality, and I’m excited to bring this colorful expression into more homes.
